Solas Playwriting Competition

Excited to be curating and directing the Solas Festival Playwriting competition this summer in Perth, Scotland! Submission are now open.

This year we have two categories: writers under 16 and 16 and over.

We are looking for 5-minute plays or a 5-minute excerpt from a play that can be rehearsed and read at the festival.

What to do:

Write your 5-minute play (3-5 pages in standard playwriting format), add in a short paragraph describing each character and a brief synopsis of the play.

Submit your entry to play@solasfestival.co.uk by the deadline: 5pm on Friday 5th June.
